We’re looking for a full-time Service Manager to oversee our St Helens Floating Support Service. This vital service supports individuals living independently in the community, helping them maintain their wellbeing and independence.

You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensure a high standard of care is delivered, and take responsibility for operational performance, team development and safeguarding. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and motivate the care team across the service
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for service users and staff
  • Manage rotas, budgets, and performance targets effectively
  • Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing in all support delivered
  • Build strong partnerships with local services and stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting

The Person

  • Experience managing teams in a care or support setting
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Confident, supportive and organised
  • Full driving licence and access to transport (essential)
  • A values-led approach and commitment to person-centred care
