Nursery Nurses - Full time and Part time Opportunities

Start Date: September 2025 (12 months fixed term with possibility of extension)
Location: Hallfield School, Edgbaston, B15
Salary: £
25,466.57 - £28,220 per annum, dependent on relevant experience, skills and qualifications (pro rata for part time).

The Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to provide exceptional early years care and education. You will:

  • Work with children aged 3 months to 3 years in a nurturing environment.
  • Support the planning and delivery of exciting and enriching play and learning.
  • Ensure care routines and observations are carried out to the highest standard.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.

We welcome:

  • Level 3 qualified practitioners with a strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child protection.
  • Candidates with childcare experience looking to gain a Level 3 qualification through an apprenticeship.

Working Arrangements: 

Full time: 40 hrs per week (Monday – Friday) / Part time: 24 hrs per week (Tuesday – Thursday)

Working all year round with 30 days paid annual leave plus paid bank holidays (pro rate for part time). Shifts - Rotation of early/mid/late shifts (between the hours of 7:30am and 6:15pm).

The Person

You will have:

  • A positive, flexible approach and excellent communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to child-centred learning and development.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
