The Role

Do you have a keen eye for detail and experience in quality assurance and documentation? Are you looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact within a dynamic software team?

We are looking for a meticulous and reliable QA & Documentation Analyst to join our team in a permanent hybrid role. This position is vital in ensuring the quality and clarity of our software, and in supporting our development and operations teams with accurate documentation.

You will need to be based in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight and must be available to work from our Ryde office two days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional testing across web and desktop software
  • Identify, log, and follow up on bugs and usability issues
  • Write and maintain clear user guides, release notes, and support materials
  • Collaborate with developers and client services to confirm technical details
  • Assist in creating test plans, test cases, and validation scripts
  • Support internal QA processes and help improve quality standards
  • Ensure all documentation meets style and tone guidelines
  • Manage version control of documents

The Person

  • Strong attention to detail and clear written English
  • Experienced in QA methodologies and defect tracking (e.g. Azure DevOps)
  • Organised and dependable with a structured approach
  • Confident working independently and within a remote team
  • Logical and analytical thinker who quickly spots inconsistencies
  • Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical colleagues
