At The Manor House Whickham, we are proud to be rated Outstanding by the CQC. We provide exceptional residential care for older people, including those living with dementia. We are now seeking a Full-Time Night Duty Care Assistant to join our dedicated team.

You will work night shifts providing care, support, and reassurance to our residents. Your role will ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and respected throughout the night.

Shifts include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care in line with individual needs
  • Support residents with bedtime and morning routines
  • Maintain a calm and safe environment overnight
  • Respond promptly to residents’ needs or emergencies
  • Keep accurate records and handover notes for day staff
  • Help residents enjoy late-night activities or quiet leisure if desired
