CNC Machinist – $23.00–$30.00/hr DOE + Benefits – Armstrong & Estherville, Iowa

The Role

Are you experienced in setting up and operating CNC machines? Do you take pride in delivering precision and quality in every part you produce?

We’re hiring a CNC Machinist to join our Operations team in Armstrong or Estherville, Iowa on any shift.

You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating machines to manufacture precision components. You’ll work from process routings, blueprints, and verbal instructions, helping us meet production and quality goals across shifts.

  • Pay: $23.00–$30.00/hr depending on experience
  • 3rd shift includes a $2.00/hr shift premium

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines using process paperwork, blueprints, fixtures, and gauges
  • Secure tools and products in machines as per setup procedures
  • Adjust speeds, feeds, and depths of cut based on materials and process sheets
  • Run first pieces and verify accuracy with measuring tools
  • Monitor machining operations and make tool adjustments as needed
  • Conduct periodic inspections to maintain quality standards
  • Record daily production and return setup materials
  • Support maintenance tasks such as fluid checks and tool changes
  • Train and assist new operators
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
  • Attend team meetings and support team goals
  • Perform other related duties as needed

The Person

  • Has a high school diploma or GED
  • Can read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
  • Understands mechanical inspection and machine setup
  • Is willing to train others and learn from others
  • Can work independently and manage time well
  • Is open to working different shifts
