Maintenance Technician – $28.00 – $37.00/hr depending on experience + Benefits – Estherville, Iowa

The Role

Are you experienced in machine troubleshooting and electrical repairs? Do you have hands-on skills in maintaining industrial equipment and systems?

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Estherville, Iowa, working on either the day shift or 3rd shifts. If you enjoy solving problems and working in a hands-on environment, this could be the right role for you.

You’ll be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment across the facility. This includes everything from electrical systems and machinery to piping and physical structures. You’ll play a critical role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

  • Pay: $28.00 – $37.00/hr depending on experience
  • 3rd shift includes a $2.00/hr shift premium

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment
  • Identify problems through visual checks and sounds, and work with other team members to resolve them
  • Repair or replace worn or defective parts
  • Align, lubricate, and adjust components like shafts, gears, bearings, and clutches
  • Install and repair wiring, transformers, and electronic components
  • Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and pipe systems
  • Program and repair automated machinery, including robotics and PLCs
  • Perform structural repairs around the plant
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment as needed
  • Maintain wooden structures, counters, and benches
  • Be present and reliable on a regular basis
  • Complete other tasks as assigned

The Person

  • Minimum two years’ experience or training in working with 110, 220, and 440-3 phase systems
  • Experience with PLCs, CNC controls, and machine troubleshooting
  • Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Physically able to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds
