Technical Support Specialist – Starting pay: $19.00/hour + Benefits – Plano, TX US

The Role

Wasp Barcode Technologies is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Plano, TX.

As a Technical Support Specialist at Wasp Barcode Technologies, you’ll support our customers by providing clear, effective solutions to a wide range of technical issues. You’ll work on a small, collaborative team dedicated to making business easier for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support via phone and email
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues
  • Guide customers through product integration
  • Document reported issues and resolutions
  • Contribute to our knowledge base and FAQs
  • Work with other team members to solve complex problems
  • Share customer feedback with product teams to help improve our solutions

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of experience solving technical problems
  • Brings strong customer service and communication skills
  • Is comfortable with PC programs like Word, Excel, and email tools
  • Can work independently and manage their time well
  • Is eager to learn new software and systems
  • Enjoys helping others and takes pride in clear, helpful communication
  • Has experience in B2B software support (preferred, not required)
