The Role

Do you have experience with CNC programming and CAD software? Are you looking for a hands-on role where precision and quality matter? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for a skilled Tooling Technician to join our team and support our manufacturing operations.

As a Tooling Technician, you will program and set up CNC machining equipment to create new mold tooling and modify existing tools. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and set up CNC machining centers for mold tooling.
  • Perform machine and quality checks as outlined in tool room instructions.
  • Break down, repair, and reassemble molds as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mold-related issues.
  • Make minor design changes to tooling using CAD software.
  • Maintain clean and organized tool area and equipment.
  • Provide recommendations for tooling improvements.
  • Participate in tooling projects and company activities as required.

The Person

  • CNC programming and CAD experience.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and variable gauges.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs overhead, and pull up to 150 lbs with a hand truck.
  • A team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
