Operations Support Manager- Up to £45,000 + Benefits– Southeast London boroughs, Croydon, Sidcup The Role Are you experienced in supported housing and mental health care management? Do you want to play a key role in supporting a charity through a time of growth and change? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are an award-winning specialist housing charity based in Southeast London, looking to appoint an experienced Operations Support Manager to our growing team. As Operations Support Manager, you will support the COO in enhancing QVT’s operating model across Client Development, Assessments, Operations, Supported Accommodation and Care services. This is a site-based role with limited remote working and for the first six months, you may need to be based at one of our schemes in the CR2 area. Key Responsibilities: · Work with the COO and Quality Assurance Team to support health and safety and a positive culture. · Manage investigations, complaints, safeguarding alerts and liaise with agencies and professionals. · Oversee tenancy and benefits matters, ensuring properties are ready for new occupants. · Guide assessments for new referrals to schemes and support Housing Managers and Officers. · Monitor delivery of housing management, risk assessments and service outcomes. · Assist in developing operational systems to enhance outcomes for tenants. · Manage operational risks, compliance, data protection and business continuity. · Undertake audits and assessments to ensure safety and quality. · Support the development of tenant participation and engagement. The Person · A strong background in Mental Health Care and Supported Housing, as well as experience in the management of community care services (outreach or domiciliary care) is essential. · Experience of management in Supported Housing and of managing and developing teams and individuals is essential. · Good communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise reports on a range of issues. · Knowledge of Health & Safety and good practice. · Driven leader with experience in Operations, Supported Accommodation and Care services. · Experience in strategic planning, change management, and cross-organisational objective delivery. · Ability to undertake support assessments and risk assessments accurately, for incoming referrals. · Ability to travel between sites. · Ability to empathise with the needs of people living with vulnerabilities and commitment to the value of supported accommodation. · This role requires the successful candidate to have the legal right to work in the UK.
