The Role

Are you confident working with hand tools? Do you have experience in a manufacturing environment? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

This is a great opportunity to join a skilled and motivated team in a hands-on production role.

As a Composite Trimmer, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing composite components to meet production and quality requirements. This includes using a variety of hand tools and working closely with other team members to ensure all parts meet our specifications.

You will be working Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm (with a 20-minute paid break and 30-minute unpaid lunch), and Friday from 7am to 1:30pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

If this sounds like the kind of role you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate processes/produce parts according to SOPs and safe working practices.
  • Perform quality checks of your own work as described in SOPs.
  • Halt production if there’s a product non-conformance and notify the Production Leader.
  • Identify, remove, and segregate defective products.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing and process improvement activities when needed, to ensure we operate as an effective manufacturing team.

The Company

At MPM, our mission is to become the most efficient manufacturing facility in our industry by focusing on teamwork, innovation, and continuous growth. We’re dedicated to creating opportunities for all stakeholders while consistently exceeding expectations. • Solid knowledge of processes and products.
  • Skills in process monitoring and control.
  • Understanding of quality standards and lean manufacturing techniques.
