We are a respected mid-sized General Contractor with several offices across Massachusetts, known for delivering complex and mission-driven commercial construction projects. Our team specializes in higher educationfederal, and affordable housing work, and we take pride in maintaining long-term client relationships and a strong pipeline of repeat business.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join our field leadership team. This individual will take the lead on large-scale projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring they’re delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities, including safety, scheduling, coordination, and quality control
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, enforce compliance with plans/specs, and drive production
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, owners, and design teams
  • Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules, manage site logistics, and proactively resolve field issues
  • Conduct site safety orientations, inspections, and maintain a culture of zero incidents
  • Ensure proper documentation of daily reports, RFI tracking, and field changes
  • Represent the company with professionalism and leadership on high-profile projects

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including 5+ years in a lead superintendent role
  • Proven track record overseeing ground-up and renovation projects in the $10M–$100M range
  • Sector experience in higher educationgovernment/federal, or affordable housing strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of construction means/methods, safety regulations, and quality control
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach to field management
  • Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent
  • OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR required; MA CSL preferred
